Reliance on Unfailing Love

Psalm 143:8 NIV says "Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life." I have undergone several major surgeries in the past and each time I received anesthesia, I fell asleep with "In Thee, O Lord, do I put my trust," on my mind. There's perfect peace in His unfailing love!

Much of today's world is changeable on a whim. We can know and rely on the love God has for us! I John 4:16 assures us "God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them." God's love is unconditional; his love is very different from human love that we experience with one another because it is not based on feelings. Love is not just an attribute of God but it is his very nature. God alone loves in completeness and perfection! He is the very source of love!

Can we trust Him? Absolutely! He has us engraved on the palms of his hands! (Isaiah 49:16 NIV) He has promised to comfort us. "There is no fear in love. Perfect love drives out fear..." I John 4:18 KJV

Whether we are working, playing, sleeping, whatever, the very source of love is with us. "Cast your burden (anxiety) on Him because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7 KJV There's nothing we will ever face that His perfect love cannot take care of. Whether you are a single parent raising children, a couple with financial and business concerns, or an older person with health difficulties--He's the place to put our trust! His love is measureless and strong. It will endure! The love of God never fails! Rely on Him--the God of enough!
