Speech That Heals

Psalm10:31-32 The mouths of the righteous (those harmonious with God) bring forth skillful and godly Wisdom, but the perverse tongue shall cut down [like a barren and rotten tree]. The lips of the [uncompromisingly] righteous know [and therefore utter] what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked knows [and therefore speaks only] what is obstinately willful and contrary.

I have been praying for a friend and work colleague, who is going thru medical intervention for health issues. I had the pleasure of her company for quite a few hours at my usual post yesterday, and prayed multiple times as we conversed. She said she really liked being around me and wished we could work together more. I was sharing what our minister friend Hunter said on Sunday, about the acronym for FEAR: false evidence appearing real; and I thought that was so good!

The divinely inspired word of God mentions in many ways how we can bless and edify with our words, or curse and tear down with them also. Now I am, for the most part, an encourager- mostly because I live thru the lens of living on the sunny side of the road…and all surprises (good and bad) in your midst are foreknown to the Lord; who is Chief Administrator, Master Planner, and Dispenser, Gifter and Giver, of all things GOOD. As carriers of such things (truth and life giving knowledge) thus, it becomes impartation of a blessed ilk (type/class), illumed knowing to the mind, spirit, soul and body- setting you TRUE NORTH in the application of His ways! …and therefore being “town criers and bell man of the good and goods, at your disposal, and like Him-you share, uplift and “shout out” this good medicine, that heals far beyond topical…and Healer is one of His names. Selah
