Spread Your Wings and Listen...

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away, behold the new has come.

Remember the story of the butterfly I wrote about in November? Be a caterpillar emerge from your chrysalis, be transformed into a completely new creature. When we recognize our sin, confess it, receive God’s forgiveness, and accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord we are transformed into new life in Him.

Have you spread your wings yet? Have you decided to throw away that old torn worn out cocoon? Have you decided to take in the sweet nectar of God’s Word? What are you waiting for?

God wants the very best for each one of us. He desires to deliver us of all our fears and worries. The voice of past pain, that’s all it is. Don’t let it prevent you from hearing the voice of Jesus, the only voice that matters. All the rest are the past, so leave them there.

Spread your wings, let the world see your beauty. Just like the butterfly no one butterfly is the same. God created you specifically and if you believe in him. you have God’s power and authority to cast out what is not of him, and anything that may separate you from His love. God wants you to reach out to him because he desires to touch you and bring his love and restoration to every hidden part of you. Refuse to just live or just survive with your wounds trapped by your emotional pain. Reach out spread your wings and be transformed with God’s love.
