Stand Firm

We are to love people but hate sin. We can no longer turn our heads to sin and pray that the strongholds of the world are broken. We can no longer water down scripture to make it look okay to sin or add our own twist to the interpretation. Yes, God is loving and forgiving, but he is also just. Meaning he upholds the moral order.

He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.

Deuteronomy 32:4

God hates wickedness. We must not allow the wickedness of people to cause us to waiver in our faith. Protect yourself daily with God's full armor so that you can stand firm against the wickedness of this world.

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness.

Romans 1:8

The church must stop trying to be halfway into the world because of tolerance and compromise. We are to love God and people. Loving people does not mean telling them it’s okay if they live in their sin,but loving them in truth. In order to love God and people, we must stay rooted in God’s word and sensitive to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. When questions arise, turn back to God’s word. Allow the Holy Spirit to be your moral monitor and listen in order to guard your heart.
