Standing Fast

”Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.“

Galatians 5:1 NKJV

This is one of my favorite verses in the New Testament there is no need for a recap of chapter four. This verse summarizes chapter four where the them is bondage and freedom.  Christ Jesus our messiah and Savior my favorite is He is our great liberator who has broken the bonds of sin that once had us entangled. So, we are to stand fast and hold on tight to the words of The Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are to preach to ourselves in the middle of our temptation we are to preach in the middle of the battle we are to preach in the middle of our struggle. This is how hold fast and don’t return to the same things we have been set free from. 

”As a dog returns to his own vomit, So a fool repeats his folly.“

Proverbs 26:11 NKJV

Let’s pray: LORD help us our great God help us to hold fast to your gospel give us grace give us strength to hold to your promises. In Jesus Name.
