Standing in the Place of Victory

Where is the place of victory? Is that place a mountain? It is a valley? Maybe it is in a dark place or maybe in the sunshine. I don’t know. I do know that victories happen in different places and in different situations. But the one thing that is always the same is it comes from a battle. Battles are where victories happen.

I used to try and fight my battles on my own. I thought I was big enough and smart enough to take care of it myself. That didn’t go so well for me. It wasn’t until I let Jesus fight my battles that I had complete victory.

But you give us victory over our enemies. Psalm 44:7

Psalm 44:7 didn’t say might or maybe. It states the victory in definite terms. Jesus is a victor you can count on. So, where is that place? Psalms 108:13 says, With God we will gain the victory and he will trample down our enemies. I like that! Trample our enemies down! But that place is with God, with God those things will happen.

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Victory makes me happy. I guess you might say, Jesus is my happy place! Victory in Jesus!
