Thankful

I would like to take this opportunity to express how I feel in this devotion. As we all journey through life, we have the opportunity to build special relationships and strong bonds with one another. I feel blessed beyond words for the church family that I have. We love each other unconditionally, and also living our lives according to God’s Word. We carry the weight of the mission of the church together, without grumbling or a negative outlook. I see those who labor viewing themselves only to be counted worthy of God's call. Although we grow tired sometimes, the Lord is faithful to rejuvenate His servants. I only hope that you feel and know how I feel. In my reading, I passed over this verse and it expressed perfectly how I feel.

“We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.”
