Matthew 5:5

Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.

Often times we view being meek as being weak, this is not the case at all. We can look at the example Jesus demonstrated for us. Jesus being fully man, and fully God led in a way where we gain understanding. Living a life not for Himself but for His Father. Meekness gives you the ability to see through the lens of grace. When others wrong you, not seeking revenge but rather, forgiveness. In the same way we see Jesus having the boldness to run the money changers out of the temple. He was still addressing sin, but in a way where there is always the chance for repentance. A life lived with meekness, is a life lived not for yourself, but for the brothers and sisters who are joined with you in the same call. That all flesh would come to the knowledge of Christ Jesus and surrender to a life of everlasting value.
