The Enemy

Matthew 12:36-37 (NLT) And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.”

Since the enemy has been stripped bare by the blood of Jesus, he has no authority over you. His only recourse is deception. The words of hell (negative words spoken over you or we speak over others) will degrade a person’s worth, their value, our destiny, our future, and our significance. The words of heaven will also speak into your worth, your value, your destiny, your future, and your significance.

People have allowed the assignment of the enemy’s words to form their character because they have given permission for those words to be fulfilled. These words become their future because of what they received and therefore believed and curse themselves by believing the enemies lies. We can be simply the product of the words that have been spoken over ourselves or the words we speak over others. Whatever we come into agreement with, that’s what we empower.

Complaining is the worship language of hell, the poison of the enemy. It caused the people of Israel to stay in the desert. We get to decide if we want to empower angels or demons. There’s power in the words that we speak. We get to decide if we are going to be on the devil’s demolition team or God’s construction crew.

In the name of Jesus I break every curse of words against me . I take every word captive that has been spoken over me …that I spoke over myself and I break the power of those curses from hell off me. I cancel every assignment of darkness, I cast them to the feet of Jesus, never to return. I return a blessing on those with whom I have cursed. Jesus took my cursing so I can live in blessing

Amen.
