The Key to the Narrow Gate

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 (ESV)

In recent years, it seems as if evil as escalated at an unprecedented speed. In Matthew 7:13-14 says, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” A key to why the gate is so narrow is that there is only one way into that gate, and it is Jesus.

The world wants to find their own path, or gods, maybe even doing good things sincerely, but that does not unlock the narrow gate. The name Jesus is the only entrance into the way, the truth, and the life. There must be an urgency in us to share Jesus with this darkening world. May our life, our words and our walk point the lost to Jesus, so they might to enter that narrow gate.
