The Physician

Bless the lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases. Psalm 103:2-3

We have all had friends and relatives who have gone to the doctor with one thing or another, and let me just say, by no means am I speaking against the medical profession, just bringing out a point. Now as I was saying, they go for a doctor’s visit, exams are done, diagnosis is given along with a prescription and off they go. A few days go by, and they’re asked how they are doing and “feeling much better” is their reply. Why? Because they went to the doctor and had faith he or she knew what they were doing.

Now just so you don’t think I’m picking on the medical profession, let’s look from a different perspective. Let’s say John Brown down the street builds an engine for your vehicle. From the ground up he puts it all together, puts it in your vehicle and it runs like a top. One day you hear a knock or ping in that engine that doesn’t sound right. Are you going to call John Brown because you have the faith that John knows every nut, bolt and spring in that motor and he’s going to know exactly how to fix it?

My point today is no matter what you’re facing, whether its medical, financial, or relational, just take it to the great Physician, the Creator of all things, to the one who knows us better than we know ourselves and watch what He will do for you.

Have a blessed day and God Bless

Stixx
