The Sacrifice of Love

The clear message of the Gospel (the good news of the kingdom of God) is that we all need a Savior, and that Savior is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Our spirit to Spirit connection was broken thru the sin of the first Adam, in the garden of Eden. The redemptive and atoning work of the incarnate sinless Lamb of God, The Messiah, gave humanity a way of reconciliation, reparation, and acceptance, because of His atoning sacrifice-on our behalf, which avails a new life, a cleansed record, and an assured final destination- when we repent, and we ask Jesus to be Lord of our lives. In love, He-Jesus, came to us for a time...was among the people, discipled 12, and taught about God’s eternal kingdom; and completed the purpose of His coming by his death, burial and resurrection. His earthly sojourn was God’s love plan - purposely put in place to rescue [by personal choice and corresponding action] His creation. Love is relational and “others” focused. He, God himself, gave us the template to follow...for God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John3:16). When you offer up, serve up love- you are saying and showing their value to you. The Lord’s plan continues to be that none should perish. Your sacrifice of love for others, in hope, will bring heaven to earth because of His higher thoughts and plans being applied; and because LOVE NEVER FAILS!

Romans 5:5-6 TPT And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us. For when the time was right, the Anointed One came and died to demonstrate his love for sinners who were entirely helpless, weak, and powerless to save themselves.
