You Shall Say!

As we have built our new home, we have moved a lot of dirt. Piles that were in our way. They were keeping us from finishing he task that we had started. Sometimes it seemed impossible. There was no way we could do it ourselves. We needed help. We called on people who had the equipment and knowledge to do the job. We knew they could do it and we had faith in them.

Isn’t that just like God? Sometimes we face mountains in our life that seem too big for us to handle. The Bible says in Matthew 17:20, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there and it shall move.’”

If you have ever seen a mustard seed, it isn’t much. It is like a grain of salt. Jesus is saying that if you would just have faith in me that much, nothing shall be impossible. He can make all your troubles just melt away. So, as you start your day and there is a mountain in your way, first think about the mustard seed, tell Satan, “not today, you can just move your old ugly self out of the way. I have authority over you in the name of Jesus! Move from here to there!”

Your day will get a whole lot brighter and your load will get a whole lot lighter. Remember you have the power and authority, now just have the faith. You shall say…

and nothing is impossible for you!
